Very funny conclusion to the Thursday Next chronicles.

Picked up at March BX meet up. Everybody keeps telling me these are wonderful books... keeping this one on my "to be read" shelf until the first book appears at a meet up soon.

I have a grand plan formulating for my birthday this year (a somewhat significant one) so am thinking to collect books that I've enjoyed for a massive wild release. Will keep this on oneside for said reason.

As I am about to reach a somewhat significant milestone, I've decided to release a book for each year over the next few weeks. As this happily coincides with the Edinburgh Festival, some will be released at various venues around the City, some will be posted out to bookcrossing friends & some as RABCKs. Expect releases to take place between 18th August 2010 and 11th September 2010.

I did try to collect books that I've read & particularly enjoyed, but as I need a considerable number, this wasn't always possible.

This book is one of those but isn't my copy. My original journal entry was:

This is the fourth of (currently)five (and soon to be six) in the Thursday Next series and by now you either love Jasper Fforde and his whimsical world of fantasy & puns or....

Once again Thursday is in the thick of things, trying to retrieve her reputation following the illegal cheese-smuggling incident, trying to get Hamlet to conflict resolution classes, trying to un-eradicate her husband, trying to prevent Armageddon - just little things of this nature!

As previously mentioned, if you've got this far, you already love Thursday and her world - this book lives up to all the others. Fantastic

Finished this last night. The fourth part of the Thursday Next series, I've been enjoying all of them so far. Part Five is already waiting for me to start it. This was pleasant reading. Rubberchicken still has this on the To-Read list, and it'll take a while to get to it. I'll put it on "PC" for now. Given that we've bought the others in the series, it may remain here for a long while and be part of the collection.
