I have read a few Palahniuk books and decided that they are too weird for my taste. I had originally saved this for the bizzare bookbox but then found out that it's on criminologeek's wishlist. Enjoy!

Got this book from azuki in the first BookCrossing meeting @ Hong Kong for the year that I participated in. It was great meeting fellow bookcrossers in Hong Kong for the first time.

Thanks to azuki for sharing this book with me. I am still reading it, and still couldn't get many of the points, but I do like the idea of the story - pretend to choke and get money to live by.

Read this book some time ago, and was too busy to add a journal entry (Sorry, Azuki).

What Palahniuk portrays in his book seems to tell us that social ills have come to an extent where people are willing to trade their morality and ethics for material gains. However, from another perspective, there seem to be no other way out for the villain to survive in the society unless he do what he does.

So I should be the third owner of this book. I follow the sticker to here and read the comment of original owners. I bought/get this book from somewhere in CUHK year ago because I love another work of the author, namely Fight Club, very much. I will comment as long as I have finished it.
