I travelled to the other side of the world, from Austria to New Zealand, and there almost to the northernmost place, and what surprise to find a released book there! In a plastic bag just north of the Cape Reinga Lighthouse! What a delight!
I'm reading it now and plan to release it before I leave Auckland this saturday (it's quite heavy, I don't want to take it on the flight).
