This is such a interesting story about Mary Anning Fossil/curie collector (lower class ) who became friends with Elizabeth Philpot ( upper class) they became friends due to the same interest. It is set in 18th century Lyme Regis.. Mary Anning sold sveral complete skeletons to various museums private collectors and societys she became well known and was an expert on the subjects of fossils/skeletons ie retrieving them from the cliffs which was not an easy thing to do as the cliffs sometimes would give way
