Received this book through Paperbackswap.com after someone here at Bookcrossing mentioned how much they enjoyed it. Plan to release when finished reading.
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I did enjoy this book and it's likeable characters. My one complaint is that the writing had an amateurish feel to it. Perhaps the authors were hoping the many literary references in the story would help make up for that, but in my humble opinion it had the opposite effect and rather magnified it. However if you want a light and fluffy read, or you like books that mention lots of other books, you probably will enjoy this one. Honestly I think I'm just getting too darned old for the whole chick lit genre - either that, or I'm slowly becoming (horrors!) a book snob.
Sending it off in the mail as a RABCK to another bookcrosser who happened to have it on their wishlist, so it will be on it's way to Georgia tomorrow. Enjoy!
