Can Iris Murcoch ever do wrong I wonder.
What an amazingly good 'read'...
Take a small group of characters all in one way or another interwoven. Watch them as their lives enfold during one English Summer and wonder about how & why things happen in our lives. How much is luck / how much misunderstanding / how much manipulation - how much can we change & how much do we influences what happens ????...
Emma & Miranda seem to be the two pivatal characters who might or might not be pulling strings for their own ends, but we are never quite sure and even at the end are left to wonder how much we really, really know about other people or even ourselves...

Oppem, the Bookcrosser who previously journalled this book, passed away on June 23, 2012. I had the privilege today of meeting her dear family and "catching" her large collection of registered books. I will release this one soon.
