I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. It was bleak at times and full of optimism and hope in others. We witness the protaganist Hans trying to figure out what is imoortant in his life in the aftermath of 9/11 and facing a crumbling marriage.

I don't know that I wouls have picked this up if you hadn't shared it. I enjoyed it more than I expected that I would.
