I really enjoyed this book. I loved the messes poor Bond got into and the spectacular way he got out of them! Book Bond is much more satisfying than Film Bond, much more human, makes mistakes and doesn't get laid as much. I was a little unsure about the ending - bedding a lesbian. I was quite disapointed with poor Pussy. If she had been written now she would have been much stronger and not jumped into bed with him. But, as this book was written in the late 1950's, I guess it was of it's time. I do find it surprising how little the books hav dated. On to the next one...
