Unfortunately for me this was not the reading experience I was expecting. I loved odd sections buut found others less interesting. This was a difficult read for me, I've read several Russian classics and never had this problem before

is part of a book ring. I have another book ring on the go, so will read this as soon as possible.
Many apologies for taking so long to read this book.
I found it very difficult to read and I never really got into it. I found war and peace far easier to read. This is probably why it took me so long to read.
However, it does give a good idea of the history of communism. however, I can't quite work out why it is described as a love story.
