From the back cover:
This is a simple story of a "strong man" whose life is dominated by fear and anger. Uniquely and richly African, at the same time it reveals Achebe's keen awareness of the human qualities common to men of all times and places.

I read this book because it is one of those books I had heard about but had never read. I am glad I read it - a great story, told simply.
I sent this book to Tennessee via svoight's If You Love Them Set Them Free bookbox.
This book came home in the If You Love Them Bookbox, thanks for including it!
Sending as part of a trade, thanks for all the great books!
