Tony Aliso, a B class movie directory, is found by an apparently incompetent police officer, stuffed in the trunk of his Rolls Royce, killed in a way that the officers over at the organized crime unit would call 'trunk music'. Bosch gets the case as it's his on call weekend, but then obviously gets worried the Organized Crime unit would be getting the case, before wondering why they don't get the case...

As all Bosch stories, well written, fast, and just have to keep reading to see what happened and how it all turns out in the end. I haven't read the books of the series in their correct order but in order I've found them around, so this one definitely adds some more clues and history for later books for Harry's and Eleanor's relationship. And Billets, or 'Bullets', seems so far the most competent manager Bosch has been working under.
