"Second hand books are wild books, homeless books; they have come together in vast flocks of variegated feather, and have a charm which the domesticated volumes of the library lack." --Virginia Woolf

"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."

Thank you! I love Carly Phillips! Thank you for being a great Bookcrossing friend! You are the best.

Your epithet would probably say: "She was generous with her books and would give a friend the book she was reading, if they asked."

Book #3 in the Lucky Trilogy: Long ago, a witch proclaimed an eternal curse that every Corwin male who married for love would be destined to lose his woman and his fortune.... Jason Corwin knows he should resist his attraction to Lauren Perkins. But after one night of mind-blowing sex with his supposed and very seductive enemy, he can't bring himself to stay away.

All Lauren wants is to sell her late grandmother's old house and leave the past behind forever. But that's not an easy thing to do when gorgeous contractor Jason Corwin whispers sweet, sexy somethings into her ear...about staying. Then a saboteur and the promise of hidden treasure change everything, and one lucky break just might put an end to the Corwin curse....

My Review: This was a satisfying ending to the Lucky Trilogy. I really liked reading about the Corwin family and their "curse". Jason Corwin and Lauren Perkins, whose ancestor put a curse on all the Corwin males. Lucky for Lauren, Jason is one of the few in town who don't believe in the Corwin curse.

Sorry that I had this one so long! It's ready to travel.
