Chosen out of a box of books from Stichting Overal, Nijmegen, during a so-called Box Day at Moem's.

I read 'The Darling Buds of May' many years ago, and seem to remember enjoying it, and I hadn't realised there were more books about the Larkin family. There has also been a very successful television series based on the books, starring David Jason, but I have never watched it.

This wasn’t as funny or touching as I had been led to believe. Pop Larkin could have been the model for Del Boy in Only Falls and Horses, making the casting of David Jason for both Perfick!
