Seven Years In Tibet
3 journalers for this copy...

The story of a Westerner's journey to Tibet, his life in the capital city Lhasa, and his description of the current Dalai Lama when he was young. Made into a motion picture in 1997 starring Brad Pitt. This paperback copy was originally a library book from the 96th St. Branch of the New York Public Library. So it has already had some unwritten adventures.
I am taking books from the outside shelves of Readers Corner, a Raleigh used book store, and releasing them. This is one of those books. If you like it, take it and write a journal entry at www.BookCrossing.com - its easy and anonymous. Then when you are done with it, find a nice place to release it.

I just put this in the mail to kz4ufo in Fort Pierce, Florida. It is going Media Mail so it could take a little while.

But that's not all that excited me ~ this book has the coolest bookplate (by buttonbright) in it that I have ever seen! Plus, inside was a postcard of Nehru Park (which I believe is in Delhi, India).
Definately the coolest of BookCrossing books!!!
(Above is the postcard that was inside. I will keep it with the book when I release it.)

sent it to me over the summer...
I finally found someone who will appreciate this story, as well as the "history and mystery"
of this special BookCrossing book!
It is an amazing story -
one that has earned its way into my top 10 favorites.
I would also like to add my own corner of the world
to the journey story of this book.
In addition to the postcard from India,
I am enclosing a postcard from my area
with a special verse on the back.
I wish to thank buttonbright again for sending
this wonderful book my way.
And so the journey continues....

A big thank you to my friend Holly. I read this book and loved it and I am sure Gabbie will love it too. Thank you so much for passing along to her.
