I enjoyed this book more than the films, which seemed to go on forever. Now that I have read the book I'll go back and rewatch the films, now that I better understand what's going on and why.
Will do the same with The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well and that'll be 2 more books knocked off the 1001 list.
