Goodnight Nobody

For Kate Klei, the unsolved murder of a fellow mother is the most interesting thing to happen since the neighbours cracked their septic tank. Up until then life in suburbia has been distinctly underwhelming. Her once-loving husband is hardly every home. The supermums in the playground routinely snub her and her days are filled with empty routine.
So on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, when her kids are in nursery school, Kate launches a murder investigation of her own. With the help of her best friend, Janie, and former flame, Evan, she is drawn deep into the dead woman´s double life. Suddenly suburbia is not so ordinary after all.

Have had this book in my pile for ages but have now finally read it :) I thought it was ok, nothing more really. Well some good parts in it, the twist in the end was surprising. So not her best book I think but it was ok.

This little book has travelled such a long way to get to Templestowe so I caught it at Green Sage café today, on to Mt TBR for the time being before it heads back out in to the world.

An unofficial murder investigation draws the main character, Kate, into the secrets and lies behind the seemingly typical life of an associate. The story moves along at a reasonable pace and overall is an entertaining read. I shall send it back out in to the world shortly.
