Interesting read but not as good as her first novel, Secret Life of Bees.

I loved The Secret Life of Bees. I hope I enjoy this second novel of Kidd's just as much, but from what I'm hearing..... no, scratch that: I'll keep an open mind, and let you know what I think of this book.

I loved The Secret Life of Bees. I hope I enjoy this second novel of Kidd's just as much, but from what I'm hearing..... no, scratch that: I'll keep an open mind, and let you know what I think of this book.
I enjoyed this book very much, more even than The Secret Life of Bees. To me, this novel seems more realistic and more plausible than Kidd's first work.
