I found this inmy local crossing zone basket last year. it wasn't registered with BC at the time.

I finally decided to offer it in Gzusgirl's TBR virtual bookbox - and it was selected!

Well, that made me read it in a hurry!

An excellent story that is told with humor, compassion, and flair. Amy Tabns fans will not be disappointed!

Thanks so much, Shroffland. I love Amy Tan, so I can't wait to read this (except I have to read my TBRs for the bookbox first!).

You were right, Shroffland--I wasn't disappointed. This was a lovely and poignant story of a woman and her aging mother redefining their relationship.

I offered this book in the Contemporary Asian Literature Virtual Bookbox. It's been chosen and will soon be travelling again.

The book has arrived safely - I am looking forward to reading this one, but I still have one or two for the Contemporary Asian VBB to finish for ApoloniaX from the last round.
