This book was hard for me to get through. In fact I never finished it. (As of yet, anyhow). But the parts I did read were beautifully written, and the fact that they were written from a non-human point of view made everything that much more surreal. The book you see, is about Traveller, General Robert E. Lee's favorite horse. The Civil War as seen through his eyes.
