Mailing this to another bookcrosser across the ocean for secret Santa mission.
Soseki Natsume is one of famous Japanese author from Meiji Era (1868–1912), and "I Am a Cat (WAGAHAI-WA-NEKO-DE-ARU)" was written in 1950. This is one of his books that was widely read and loved in Japan. The title doesn't convey well of the nuance in Japanese, but this cat tells the story with the manner of a scholar, as if he is very intelligent and observing fellow creatures, humans.
This book is now in your hand, and it is entirely up to you what to do with it. This is a long novel, but it would be great if you find this book interesting.

Wow, thank you so much for this book. I love stories about cats, as you know, and I´m also very fond of Japanese literature. I'm looking forward to reading this book, though it might take a while before I do it. Mount TBR is high...
