I have become a fan of Vince Flynn. His writing style is very entertaining and the storyline is awesome. The stage is Washington DC and the problem is one of what appears to be a botched assassination attempt when a shaped charge is used to attack a motorcade of the candidate for the presidency. This thing unfolds over time as the candidate is ultimately elected. The CIA calls in its attack/watchdog,Mitch Rapp who starts running things down quickly and aggressively. A reader can hardly turn the pages fast enough to get into the scenes as they are skillfully tossed around in this salad of intrigue, murder for hire, espionage, and blackmail. Makes you want to curl up with a flak jacket on so you won't get hit by anything other than the hard hitting story. I will make sure this goes to an interested reader.

Vince Flynn is a pretty exciting writer. This book took you on an adventure and it was great. It was hard to put down and as a result, I will read more of Flynn's books. Seems that he has a pretty good handle on this adventure bit. This book details a corrupt presidential administration and the behind-the-scenes coverups that are taking place; this book arrived apropos given the current political atmosphere.
