An entertaining novel about two bickering sisters who must unite when their elderly widowed father announces he is going to marry a young Russian gold-digger, and subsequently drags up a whole lot of family secrets. I enjoyed learning a little Ukrainian history in between the story, but I kept waiting for the "hilarious" and "extremely funny" parts as mentioned on the cover, and they never really came...
