I went to the library book sale this weekend, and in one area I found a stash of several Agatha Christie novels. I read her books voraciously when I was younger. I recently read about someone (either on here or on LiveJournal) who joined a challenge to read them all in order, I thought about it, but I didn't have many of her books at that time. I snagged the ones I saw at the sale, and decided to try it..so I joined here.

I am realizing I am not going to complete this challenge - I just don't have the desire to read these mysteries any longer (I start one, and just cant seem to get going in it) -- I may keep a few that I want to re-read, or perhaps just ones that sound interesting....but most are going to be avl.

Thank you so much, innae, for your generous Agatha Christie box. Looking forward to getting lost in the mysteries! I have to comment on the lovely old printing this is, I love old paperbacks and this is an imprint I have not seen before. Can you imagine when a new book was just 50 c?

Read this in January - the second one I picked and another Miss Marple - another great one that I may have read before but thoroughly enjoyed… guessed part of it but enjoyed it immensely, especially the character of Mr. Rafiel. I love AG’s sense of justice and morality, as well as her compassion for people caught up in things. Miss Marple is one of my favourite characters.

Had to return to the clinic with my visiting niece, so left this book with the magazines and books in the reception area.

Note that the book I left just a few weeks ago has already been taken, yay!
