The Future Homemakers of America
2 journalers for this copy...
From the Crescent Fort Rouge United Church used book sale. I liked the cover!
The story of 5 American wives, thrown together at a US Air Force base in England and their English friend, Kath. We follow them from 1952 into the nineties through thick and thin, husbands, children, grandchildren, jobs and moves, life and death. By turns joyful and sad, funny and sobering, it is a lovely story about the nature of friendships.
