Ok, I seriously hate myself because I din't want to fall victim to the hype, but I read Twylight and it was REALLY good, so now I of course have to finish the series :)
I really like the book. Stephenie Meyer is a good writer with a knack for description. Also, I adore Jacob Black.

Note: I saw the movie New Moon yesterday 12/16/09 at Century Rio 24. It was so good I watched it twice. Loved it! Glad I read the book first though because it made it easy to follow the plot and keep track of the characters. I thought the casting was excellent.

This book arrived safe and sound. I will try to read it asap, but with my birthday and Christmas coming up, it might take a while.

That was a quick read. I liked it a lot - it was interesting to observe the development of the characters. I think it is better than Twilight.

I tried reading this do to all the hype and my really good friend said to give it a chance. I told her I did not care for the first one but she said that it gets better. I did not get hooked to the characters and do not think I will be continuing the series. I did give this book the Community Center in Taipei. Hopefully it will find a wonderful home.
