On the surface it is about flying, and indeed Bach is to blame that I took up flying again after a 20 year break. But, his writing is about more, as you will know if you read Illusions, or Jonathan Livingston Seagull. This is one of his earlier books, I would not put it in the "spirituality" shelf as I would his later stuff.
