I sought out his book after having read several postive references to it on the BookCrossing site and on the Yahoo listserve.

Author Tony Hawks, on a bet, sets out to hitch-hike around the perimeter of Ireland in the company of a fridge. Very funny stuff.

I read this book aloud to Maggee and Jesse and have now started reading Hawks' second book, PLAYING THE MOLDOVANS AT TENNIS to Jesse.

This was a library book so it won't be going out into the wild. But check your local library; ours had copies of both books...
