The Copper Beech
4 journalers for this copy...
Read this a few years ago - it is a well written, enjoyable story following the lives of a group of children, living in a small Irish town, who carved their names on a Copper Beech tree. It describes their lives 'warts and all' with a few laughs and tears along the way, just as in real life.

I found this book in Gloria Jean's at Greensborough Plaza. What a sensational idea!! I read this particular book a long time ago but am looking forward to reading it again. Maeve Binchy is my favourite author so I couldn't resist picking it up. Will try and leave it in a random place after I'm done as that's how it crossed my path. Love this idea so much! Has made my day :)
I have only just found it, I will read it and then comment.

I thought it was a little to soppy for me. I like a bit more action and not so much a romance novel.
