Nothing as good as going to a used book sale and finding a wishlist book for .50! This copy appears to be brand new and is signed by the author, no less!

Enjoyed this much more than I expected to...so much so, in fact, that I used my Border's gift card from Xmas to purchase the sequel even before I has finished this book! I knew next to nothing about the Polish revolution of the 1790's, so this was not only a richly told love story, but a fascinating history lesson. I would agree with reviewers that this has book has nuances of GWTW and Dr. Zhivago; there is so much action that it is a definite page-turner. Probably reserving for a future bookbox.
