This is one of the best things I've read recently. It's written with a light touch yet is filled with so much information that I was never aware of before. The characters are well drawn and the historical information extremely interesting. I'm passing it along to a friend in the hope that she enjoys it, too.

I enjoyed this book. It started off relentlessly witty but I stuck with it. There was a transformative moment and it was by then hard to put down.
