Book description:
A small midwest town at Christmas time... A high school reunion... Buried ghosts and repressed passions resurface from the past of Afro-American Virginia Kelly.
Home for the holidays, Virginia observes that nothing seems to have changed. Her parents, still hoping a man will reclaim her from her lesbian path, do not see that Virginia is in deep mourning for the man in her life--gay friend Emery Arkin, dead of AIDS before she even knew he was dying.
But... at her high school reunion, the painful past is transformed to a much different present. Rosalee, Virginia's first and never-forgotten love, exhibits new, if ambiguous, interest in Virginia. A former classmate, who has renamed herself Spike, determinedly pursues Virginia. The marriage of Virginia's friend from high school days turns out to be not the idyll it appears. And a teacher named Harry Hobart has lost his wife in a mysterious drowning.
Now someone else is about to die.

My first wild catch! Strangly, I was just looking at my bookshelf the other day and thinking that I really desperately need to start releasing books again before they take over, and today, I plop myself down at Panera right next to a stack of wild books! Clearly, its a sign.

I am leaving this one where I found it, since there were three here and it seems unfair to take all of them.
