I love Harris, and this book didn't disappoint. A ghost writer is engaged to complete the "autobiography" of a former British PM - who had been involved in a middle eastern invasion (hmmm - wonder who that could be). The protagonist is soon drawn into a conspiracy filled thriller with lots of great suspense and twists. Good book.

A good yarn & an entertaining page turner. I enjoyed the cheeky references to a certain ex-prime minister!

My wife picked this up at the Leeds bookcrossing because Maia recommended it! I was trying to leave with less books than I arrived with but that didn't work too well. It does look good though :-)
Finally got around to reading this. A quick and engaging read, the first of Harris's that I've tried. Some good links to previous prime ministers but obviously the main character is completely made up!
