This is the well known first volume of the Chronicles of the Discworld.
This novel IS funny. Very much so. you will laugh. I promise. Well you may not laugh, but I did. I swear.

This book is back among the living and its fate has been rather strange. Having been sent by ClonedAgain to a bookcrosser in Munich in June/July 2003, it was assumed lost in the mail. However, I did receive it from this person as early as August 2003.

Only now, as I was about to send it on (having read it last yar already), I discovered that a second label had been glued on top of the original label. So, apparently the book was re-registered by the second reader instead of being journaled and its reception being confirmed.

I deleted my orignal journal on the wrong BCID and am now journaling here with the original number (which could hardly be read on the remains of the first label. Anyway, I hope that the book will continue its journey and find many many new readers!

I took this out of The Next English Bookbox.

I love Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels and as I just finished Interesting Times I'm happy to meet Rincewind again. :)

Journal Entry 5 by elhamisabel from Frankfurt am Main, Hessen Germany on Saturday, June 25, 2005
I finished it.

The book was OK. It had its funny, laugh-out-loud parts but Terry Pratchett got better in his later works.

RELEASE NOTES:

Will be released somewhere in London or Oxford or Cambridge during my stay.
