November 23rd- i have just finished this one and enjoyed it so much god these books are so funny, it not often books make you laugh and laugh but the sweet potato queen books do.

Thanks jodie-jo-jo for sharing this book with me. I'm thoroughly enjoying the SPQ humour. The book is promised to KiwiKat, and will be on its way to her after the Christmas rush.

This arrived today and it looks like it's going to be a bit of a laugh. I will get to it as soon as possible, but just have a couple of items in the TBR pile to get out of the way first.

This book was hilarious!! The ending was a bit of surprise, though. I now have an overpowering urge to put on a sequin-covered dress, fishnet stockings, majorette boots, long silk gloves, a red wig and a tiarra, but just where can I get an outfit like that at 8am on a Saturday morning!?!? This book is destined to be released at the Marlborough Wine Festival in a couple of weeks, so hopefully it will do a bit of travelling. It's bound to be found by someone who enjoys having fun, anyway!! Thanks again Ms Mello for sending it to me and to Betsy-STL who sent the book Down Under in the first place!
