Received in today's mail from alsomama, who took pity upon my newly to-be-hitched state and sent me this in an attempt to keep me sane enough to get through this transition.
I'll read it after the Great Move [OK, so we're a little out of sequence and bought the house first] and pass it on to another worthy bride-to-be.

Update 9/19/04: The picture is from our handfasting held at our home this morning. It was a warm day, and our crowd was small, but it was quite relaxed (had my friend Becca repierce my ear 10 minutes before the cermony started so I could wear the grape earrings that matched my outfit). Persphone was our ring-bearer, and my two bridemaids chased me out of the kitchen every time I tried to help ("scram! go get another mimosa!").

I think I know exactly where this book needs to go, it's just a matter of tracking down the address...
