Thank you very much Watchcat. I will read it soon.
I read this book on the weekend and I enjoyed it. I like it when an author does research on his topic matter, as DeMille has done. The characters were well developed and there was a good pace to the plot.

Took it to meet-up to release.
Took it to meet-up to release.
It looks like I forgot to journal this book after the Meet-up. Sorry.
Not a bad book, but there were times when I wanted things to get to the point. Quite a lot of exposition, which was necessary to the plot, but I got tired of it after a while. And I also got tired of the main character's wisecracks. I'm a fan of a good wisecrack, but this guy never shut up. And for a professional homicide detective, he didn't act very professional. Also, he's supposed to be recovering from some disabling gunshot wounds, and at several points in the book when he's exerting himself, he gets a bit wheezy from the shot to the lung. However, during the final chase, which was quite prolonged and physical, he never once has a problem with his breathing.
Sorry to be so critical. I did enjoy the puzzle presented by the book, and I liked the characters.
I'll use my bookcrossing stamp on it, and try to make sure another bookcrosser gets it. :)
