This book is not the sort of book I would normally choose to read, but as I had a fairly long bus journey ahead of me, I picked it up and started to read it on my way home. I found that it was well written, from the experiences of White Fang, who is half wolf, half dog, without bordering on fantasy. Its a tale of survival, both in the wild and in the hands of people and I found it a touching book. I am going to set it free somewhere in the city centre.
