Pure fixtion about Arthur Dent who leaves planet earth just seconds before it is demolished. Funny from start to end. I bought the book because I had heard it was a book to read, kind of a classic.

This book was hysterical from beginning to the end! It is superdry, absurd british humor at it's best, and i believe quite a number of people on the morning train must believe that i am madder than Zaphod himself from all my giggeling.

Acctually i did'nt want to read the book since i thought the film was so lousy, but i guess this book has proven the old Norwegian jungel saying: "Though shall not judge the book by the film."

Anyone know where i can get "The resturant at the end of the universe" by the same author?

Oh yes, my next son will be named Slartibartfast, my new favourite name.

a great read, absolutley hilarious :) I picked it up in norway, it is currently in Halmstad, Sweden and will be dropped off att the next bookcrossing shelf i can find :)
