Illustrated with beautiful sketches and photographs, together with a fold-out map at the back showing the location of all the crosses mentioned in the book. The author's intimate knowledge and obvious love of Dartmoor and of its villages, its moorland and its crosses is impressive and is shared generously and clearly with the reader.

Any lover of Dartmoor will love this book. I did and am tempted to keep it but have decided to release it because I want others to have the pleasure I had from it.
