I bought this at a used book store. I've been looking for the rest of this series for several years. Now I can finally read the end of the story.

This is the twilight period between the glory of Rome and the Dark Ages. Ys has fallen, but the survivors must establish new lives, and the King of Ys is determined to protect them, even from his own beloved Rome.
