Pre-numbered label used for registration.

I bought this at a used book store. I've been looking for the rest of this series for several years. Now I can finally read the end of the story.

This is the twilight period between the glory of Rome and the Dark Ages. The empire is beset by enemies, both internal and external, and the Roman authorities are loosing their ability to control and protect the far flung reaches of the empire. Ys has fallen, but the survivors must establish new lives, and the King of Ys is determined to protect them, even from his own beloved Rome. This book provides the clearest look at the decay of the empire and the darkness that is decending accross Europe.
