I got this from a neighbour who leaves books out to be picked up (but apparently isn't a BC member) ... it's a fairly good read, though not at all what I would have expected from the cover or the blurb. It looks like a somewhat dated spy thriller. In fact, it's a well-done set of character studies, moody and more than a little depressing.
