a heart breaking story , beautifully written with a very unexpected twist at the end . It is sad and tragic but at the same time uplifting .It made me appreciate how much Ireland has moved on from the horrors of the early 20th century .The story is superbly plotted and the characters utterly believable . I am still mulling over this story days after finishing it .
