A Tale of Time City

One of Diana Wynne Jones' novels, the first one I of hers I read after my mom read it aloud to us. These books were the "Harry Potters" of my childhood, minus the movies, toys, posters, card games, etc... Just great stories that I enjoy reading to this day.
I'm going to mail this to a fellow book-crosser in New Zealand, and let her release it there.
Received in the mail (there's another book for you, says hubby, in a resigned tone of voice ...) - thanks, read-em-n-reap!
I've never read any of Diana Wynne Jones' books, and was interested to see them described above as "the Harry Potters" of someone's childhood: how come I missed out on them so completely???!!
I have a young reader in mind for this one (the daughter of a BookCrosser), so shall try releasing it to her first; otherwise, it shall be set free in an appropriate place!

Got this at a BX meetup. It was in a pile and escaped others notice, until I picked it up... now there is a bit of a line up of people who want to read it after me... guess it will have to be a priority on my 'to be read list'.
I read a Diana Wynne Jones book a while back and was very impressed by it, so Alithia and I were fighting over this one when it appeared on the table at the NZBC Convention. Alithia won, but has very kindly passed it on to me now that she's read it.

Read on the plane to Brisbane. It was reasonably interesting, but the plot seemed overly complicated (or was that just the 4 am check-in having fried my brain completely?).
I'll probably release it somewhere over here.

Picked up at today's meet up.
I read this because it was beside the bed and it has a sci-fi theme. As a kids book, it would probably appeal to a tween or younger. It is ok.
Haven't read this yet but will get around to it soon!
