A good read, funny and extremely clever.
Emotionally Weird gaat naar Nrrdgrrl in Hilversum
klingons, scotland and the promise of a beautifully written book - how could i not ask yvonnep for this book?
these are emotionally weird times for me, so it's a proper time to read this book. i'm halfway through now.
it may be because of that state, or the resulting tiredness, but somehow the well-crafted paragraphs just don't get me. i can see they are meant to make the reader howl with laughter. and i smile meekly at the overstuffed sentences and read on.
i do enjoy the book though, and it's interesting enough to go on reading... because there is something like a plot promise. points for that!

btw, i promised this one to maaikeb a month ago, in exchange for anne tyler's the accidental tourist. maaikeb's tbr pile is a high as anyone's, so there's no hurry.

I was glad to see this is not a ring-book, which means that it won't be on top of Mount TBR for some weeks. But I'm too curious to stay away from it for a really long time, I bet. We'll see...
Gave it a try, but I guess I'm not in the mood for it. Jesi wants to read it and as I am in the mood for emptiness and order I welcome every opportunity to get rid of things. I'll try 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' by this author some time in the future.
Hi Maaike, I received the book! It was a bit of a (nice) surprise, I never thought about this book anymore. Since I started reading the Don Quichot book (1100+ pages) it might take a while before I start with this one.
And thank you for the beautiful card!
