Trying to read this book made me feel like a live butterfly pinned to a piece of corkboard. I just wanted to get away.

[R: Birthday surprise!]
Thank you for thinking of me on my birthday. How GENEROUS! It was a great day.
Received today from bet80. She enjoyed the book.
Going to start reading the book tonight. I have a few others going so not sure how fast I will get it done.
Ms. Bender has written a story about the fear of loss and how that fear can stop one from living as well as an individual with some odd behaviors. I think trekwoman defined the book well. I finished it, but was happy when I read the last word.

Enjoy! RABCK and KTM release challenges to princess-peapod.
ok, I WANTED so badly to like this book, but oh my I just couldn't! The main character just annoyed the heck out of me. The basic story never grabbed me, but I keep hoping that it would become more realistic and perhaps more interesting? I have not been so happy to get thru a book in a very long time. I will find a way to pass this one along in hopes of finding a reader who might enjoy it more than myself!

I think the JE Trekwoman did sums it up!!!! I am setting this one free at the OBCZ in Vista while down visiting family & friends for the holidays.
"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."
