Well, I finished it and have to admit it was something of a struggle. As it is written by a Nobel Literature Prize Winner & it is also a 1001 book this was definately on my list of books to read...
It was hard going ... I had difficulty (especially in the beginning) following the thread of the story and then huge chunks in the middle were I must confess way, way above my understanding...
On a less than complete level I did enjoy the book & did come away with some interesting thoughts regarding Apartied / South Africa and yes - I have now read it !!!!...
