50 Ways to Kill a Slug (Gardening)

Journal Entry 1 by TaxManager from Market Rasen, Lincolnshire United Kingdom on Monday, June 8, 2009
I recently visited a friend who was collecting books for the book stall at her Church's fete. Naturally I got first pick - at the going rate I hasten to add.
This is an amusing little book with serious and not so serious solutions to the slug problem. Apparently they don't like mint, chives, garlic, geraniums, foxgloves and fennel. I might try some companion planting with my hostas!
