This book is the sequel to Chocolat and brings back the familiar characters of Vianne and her daughter Anouk. They are now living in Paris with new names as Vianne desperately tries to make a normal, average life for her children. Into their lives comes a mysterious glamourous woman calling herself Zozie. Before long Vianne finds her life once again being dominated by chocolat and magic. Zozie is not what she seems and has her own plans for Vianne and especially for Anouk. Roux comes to Paris to find Vianne and discovers more then he expected and Vianne begins a fight for all she holds dear against a woman who brings darkness and deceit into her world. A wonderful read with a surprising conclusion.
