McCarthy is my kind of writer. A strong story...I'd read on and on past my bedtime. It reminds me of depression and how you survive it and outlast it and find your way. A favorite book now. Thank You

it's me again. i wanted to add that i did pick this book up at starbucks @ huebner oaks off the table next to the door. i have it reserved to see if a friend of mine would like to read it. it will be back on its journey soon. i will post where it is passed on. The Road was an experience..thanx again for sharing it

35yo male San Antonio. Follow up. I passed the book off to a good friend. He read it in July and it's one of his top 3 favorites now. On a visit to Austin the 1st wkend of Aug, I dropped the book off on the drag at the UT Austin Starbucks.
