1 journaler for this copy...
I want to read this but I just realized it's Book Two in the Dragonriders of Pern series. Since I have an aversion to reading series out of order, I now have to go out and find a copy of Dragonflight!
As soon as I read Dragonflight, I immediately started on Dragonquest. Both books were completely enjoyable. I'm so upset that it took me so long to read this series. Anne McCaffrey has created an amazing world and I would recommend these books to anyone who likes a little fantasy. I plan on picking up White Dragon as soon as possible.
From the Publisher
Most Pernese are grateful to dragonkind for keeping Holds and Crafthalls safe from Threadfall. But some, resenting their obligations to the weyrs, have begun to complain about the privileged status of the dragonriders.
Dragonrider F'nor, brother of F'lar, is intrigued by the suggestion that the dragonriders teleport to the Red Star to destroy Threadfall at its source. But his brown dragon needs an image of a place in order to go there, and the images F'nor picks up - from an unexpected source - are terrifying.
